Nag Champa is a fragrance of Indian origin, based on a combination of magnolia (champaca or champak) and sandalwood, or frangipani (plumeria) and sandalwood - though when frangipani is used, the name is usually just "Champa", without the "Nag".
Many users of Nag Champa will spray (or burn it in incense sticks) during times of meditation, prayer, general reflection or to help cleanse and clear the air and make a space sacred. Native Americans burn bundles of sage, known as smudge sticks, to help clear the air of negative energy.
It has woody notes similar to patchouli, with touches of musk, amber, and vanilla. If you haven't smelled it before, you have to try it. If you know it, we think you'll love our rendition.
